Mango Lassi

Do you like mango lassis?

A favorite drink at Indian restaurants, they're easy to make at home.


  • 1 cup chopped very ripe mango or frozen chopped mango (please make sure it is not sour), or canned mango pulp (easily available at superstore or walmart international section)

  • 1 cup plain yogurt (I prefer balkan red yogurt)

  • 1/2 cup cream18%

  • 4 teaspoons honey or sugar, more or less to taste

  • Chai Masala 1/2 tsp

  • Ice, optional

Let us make it

  1. Add ingredients to blender:

    Put mango, yogurt, milk, sugar and chai masala into a blender and blend for 2 minutes.

    If it's a hot day,  blend in some ice as well or serve over ice cubes at the end

  2. Serve:

    Pour contents into a glass and sprinkle with a tiny pinch of chai masala to serve.

    The lassi can be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
